COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:-
Atropine Sulphate.........1mg
INDICATIONS:
Drying secretions, adjunct gastro-intestinal disorders characterized by smooth muscle spasm.
Antidote for organophosphorus compound poisoning in combination with anticholinesterasis,
vagally mediated cardiac arrhythmias.
DOSAGE:
For Intraveneous Injection.
Horses and Cattle:- 30 - 60 micrograms per kg body weight.
Sheep:- 80 - 160 micrograms per kg body weight.
Dogs and Cats:- 30 - 50 micrograms per kg body weight.
ORGANOPHOSPHORUS POISONING:-
By subcutaneous injection, 25 - 200 micrograms per kg
at approximately 3 - 4 hours intervals until clinical signs
of poisoning relieved, In severe cases a quarter of the
dose may be given by intramuscular or slow intraveneous
injection and the remainder by sucutaneous injection.
